Hello March! Hello New Season!

Hello March! Wow! It’s been a while since I have posted on my blog and so much has happened. It feels like we are heading into a new season, a season of new beginnings. There’s always that hopefulness when spring approaches. The flowers start to make an appearance, the cherry blossoms, lighter days and nights, and that feeling of optimism in the air. At the end of October I found out I was pregnant with our 3rd child! This has been such a rollercoaster of a journey, very intense feelings, a lot more intense than my...

Happy Birthday lovely one! x

Happy Birthday lovely one!   October is my birthday month. And there always seems to be a momentum leading up to the day. Sometimes it’s just one of those days where nothing goes right. Sometimes it’s an area in your life that looks like it’s not moving or it is littered with obstacles and the odd mountain to overcome. Being a Christian was never going to be the ticket to an easy life but my goodness it’s harder when...

Rest or step out?

Rest or step out?

The days of full lockdown seem far away The kids have been home for a very long play Tears, tantrums, laughs and potty training Makeshift dens and games while it was raining Picnics, toys, stories and the odd film night Home haircuts and trying to avoid everyone in sight Walks, bike rides, and CBeebies overload Board games and a million washing baskets to load The days have seemed to roll into one Springs gone and summers nearly almost done Sipping cups of tea upon the loo A secret five minutes to hide from the crew Mums have been stretched to...
