Joy wooden Postcard

Ah my beautiful joy wooden Postcard. This was one of the first designs I did when I started.  When you’ve not been creative for a long time, or perhaps not done something for a long time, my mind has that feeling of rubbing two sticks together to try and make a fire!😂

God is so faithful, he was ever so gentle with me to start this adventure. And I have to say it felt really nice having something that was for me. I hadn’t ever had a hobby - apart from Primark 🙈 - I tried knitting once and oh my days! Enough said. I will not be one of those mothers handing down craft skills to their children unfortunately  - apart from the life skill of a cooker and washing machine - just😁

I found the whole process of putting I pencil to I pad so fulfilling. In podcasts I have listened to on purpose from a Christian perspective, it is something that has always been on and in your life. I remember my first ever lesson in joined up handwriting back in year 2, roughly 96/97 and i can still remember where I sat and what word we did first. It was ‘the’ by the way. I loved writing, my mum got me and my twin sister a fountain pen with cartridges in one year and it was such a joy to write with. And as time went on, not to blow my own trumpet but God graced me with good handwriting and I am finally making use of it today.

Your purpose from God is so uniquely crafted from the one who made you. It’s not a mystery because you were made to do your purpose and made to have a relationship with Him. But if you have no idea like how I did, it does come from having deep conversations with God. It comes from being in the word, and knowing what your good at. And all the while you are serving God faithfully. He orchestrated everything and you will not miss it.

“And don't be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God's place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there.” 1 Corinthians 7:17
